Heart to Art: Creative Tools for Self-Expression and Relaxation
In a safe and supportive environment, participants will have the opportunity to explore their emotional experiences while connecting with others. Through art-making, journaling and experiential exercises, teens can have fun and gain self-awareness while developing skills for managing anxiety and frustration.
Creative interventions provide individuals with a comfortable, nonthreatening communication tool that can provide numerous benefits for calming the mind and body, increasing self-esteem and promoting healthy functioning.
